Dutch cucumber grower Jan Koppert first began experimenting with predatory mites to control red spider mites in 1967. That pioneering work laid the foundation for modern day biological pest control, and sparked a multinational company that still leads the industry, even after 50 years.

Today, Koppert Biological Systems BV is the worldwide leader in the research, development and production of beneficial insects and mites, biological crop protection and natural pollination products. The company's state-of-the-art production facilities and laboratories work together, maintaining the highest quality standards. Today, Koppert has facilities in the Netherlands, England, France, Italy, Spain, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Turkey and Slovakia. But despite its size, Koppert remains a family business whose primary concern is assisting growers with crop pests and pollination needs.

Koppert Biological, Inc. is a subsidiary of Koppert Biological Systems BV, providing a full complement of biological controls and natural pollination products to both the professional grower and the home gardening enthusiast. Additionally, Koppert provides growers with technical assistance, training and information for pest identification, treatment recommendations for pests, and instructions for product application. Backed by 50 years of industry experience, Koppert has earned a reputation as a flexible, innovative and reliable provider of natural pollination products - our core business - and pest controls.

Customer satisfaction is essential: Koppert strives to ensure that every customer achieves desired results with biological control and natural pollination. Quality products are very important, but competent advice, guidance, provision of information and training by knowledgeable staff are also critical. Effective communication, both with industry and customers, is essential to Koppert.
